About Me
I am Milmon F. Harrison, a professor and former Director of African American & African Studies at the University of California, Davis. I am also a former Administrator in the Humanities, Arts, and Cultural Studies Division of the College of Letters & Science. You can access my teaching web site via the “teaching” links in the menu or below.
Although I haven’t had much time for it lately, in my “free time,” I have enjoyed graphic- and web design, particularly WordPress theme development and customization. You can access my design portfolio site via the “design” link above to see some of my past projects. I hope to be able to return to this type of creative work sometime in the near future.
I am also an amateur photographer, as in I am someone who loves what he is learning and doing. You can see examples of my work by visiting my Flickr photostream by clicking on the Flickr icon below. As with design, I haven’t had a lot of time to pursue it lately, but I do hope to return to it soon.
And finally, I love learning about other cultures, so in the past year I have returned to studying Spanish. I will be blogging in Spanish occasionally on my DrMilmon.com site. Stay tuned, and thanks again for stopping by!
